A private ambulance is the right answer when you need medical capability on the ground, in advance, for a situation where waiting on a 995 dispatch is the wrong plan. That covers a lot of ground in Singapore: events with thousands of people, marathons that need cover along the route, construction sites where injuries are foreseeable, film shoots with stunts in them, and families who need to bring an elderly parent home from the hospital with proper care rather than a taxi.
Important: when not to use us
If someone is in a life-threatening medical emergency right now, call 995. SCDF emergency ambulances are free, fast and the right answer for any 995-level situation. We exist for the situations that 995 is not designed to handle, not as a replacement for it.

Event standby ambulance
Pre-positioned at your venue before doors open. Crew on stand for the duration of the event. Ready to respond inside the venue without waiting for SCDF dispatch from outside. Event ambulance standby covers how a booking works and where the vehicle should sit.
Marathon & sports cover
Race day cover with positioning along the course. Coordination with the race organiser, the start line, the medical tent and any shuttle vehicles.
Patient transport
Hospital discharge home, dialysis runs, clinic visits, inter-facility transfers. A trained crew, the right equipment, and a schedule that suits the family.
Construction site standby
Site safety cover for high-risk construction work, lifting operations, hot work and confined space entry. Reduces the response gap when minutes matter.
Film & TV production cover
On-set medical standby for productions, particularly those involving stunts, vehicle work, water work or any scene where the risk profile justifies medical readiness.
Corporate event medical
Company D&Ds, town halls, family days, product launches, conferences. Discreet cover that does not interrupt the event, and is right there if it needs to.
Why pre-book private cover instead of relying on 995
SCDF emergency ambulances are positioned to respond to the next 995 call from anywhere in Singapore. They are not pre-positioned at your event, your worksite or your venue. SCDF's published median response time to emergency calls is single-digit minutes (around seven minutes in rush-hour conditions), which is fast by any international standard, but if your event is on Sentosa, in a deep basement carpark, or in the middle of a closed marathon route, that response can stretch considerably.
For pre-planned situations, the right answer is to put trained medical capability on site before the event starts. That is what private standby is for.
How it works
- You request a quote. Tell us the date, location, headcount or event size, and what you need cover for. Two minutes.
- We come back to you. By email, with availability and pricing once your job is scoped. No discovery call, and no chasing you for a phone slot.
- You confirm. We lock the crew and vehicle and send confirmation with the pickup or arrival window.
- The crew arrives. They are on site before your event begins. They stay for the duration. They handle anything that needs handling.
- You get a clean handover at the end of the booking. If we used the vehicle, you get the report. If nothing happened, we go home and you have your event back.
